I loved the topics covered, relaxed environment and the sharing of knowledge and experience. I particularly enjoyed reconnecting to others in the community and meeting new people. It was also refreshing to be able to talk about issues which in other circles are considered taboo. Lots of food for thought and ideas to take away and talk with others about.’ Workshop attendee.

I have had care from Elizabeth for all of my pregnancies, I highly recommend her treatments and care.’ S.T.

‘Elizabeth took great care in ensuring she was fully aware of our needs before commensing treatment. She was professional and extremely knowledgeable which meant that she not only met our needs but exceeded them. She went beyond the call of duty and we felt extremely well cared for. P.S. We’d love to pop in and introduce you to Maya. Let us know if you have a 10 minute window one Saturday morning.’ J.S.A.

‘Elizabeth was very friendly and considerate of my needs. She put me at ease even though I was nervous. I went into labour so had to cancel my 4th appointment!’ J.W.

‘I booked a series of appointments soon after my baby’s due date had passed, as I had concerns about going over 40 weeks, and was equally apprehensive about being medically induced. I had perhaps three or four treatments in total, each time experiencing ‘Braxton Hicks’ type sensations while the treaments was underway. After one treatment I continued to experience regular contractions for some hours, however these subsided by the following morning and I was booked in for an appointment for a ‘stretch and sweep’ procedure at the clinic. On attending this appointment, the midwife was amazed to find the baby was already ‘at station’ and that I was 1 cm dilated. She told me she was supprised that I was not having contractions as the signs indicated that I was already in the first stages of labour! I saw Elizabeth for one more appointment onthe way home from the clinic, went into labour late that night and my baby was born the following morning after a (relatively!) speedy labour and delivery. I am grateful to Elizabeth for helping my baby into the world and for all of her support and assistance which was far more that the treatments alone. I will certainly be back when baby 2 comes along.’ E.W.

My baby was discovered as Breech very late in my pregnancy. Having planned a natural birth I was frightened and undermined by the fear driven reactions of conventional medicine ie. pressure to have a c-section without trying to labour first and suddenly being a ‘high risk’. Visiting Elizabeth enable me and my partner to regain some control and confidence and take a proactive approach again. It was such a relief to encounter such positive encouragment after so much negative information. My baby didn’t turn but the treatment and information had a positive effect overall. Your help was invaluable and I would recommend you to anyone who found themselves in my position.’ P.H.

Elizabeth is extremely professional and very caring. I had had a c-section previously due to breech and was keen to have a natural birth this time. Elizabeth supported me during me during the latter stages of pregnancy. We discovered that my baby was breech again, just like my first. Elizabeth carried out moxibustion treatments and by 35/36 weeks my baby was no longer breech. I was told that if I didn’t start labour naturally by 14 days over my due date I would be induced. Once again I was keen to avoid high levels of medical intervention and I wanted a natural birth. During this time Elizabeth supported me immensely. With Elizabeth’s help my daughter was born without medical induction. Elizabeth taught me coping techniques that I was able to use during labour, I always felt very relaxed during my consultations with her and positive about the birthing experience. I believe pregnant women should be treated with respect. Giving birth is a highly personal experience and the memories stay with you for a lifetime. Elizabeth makes a real difference in her work, in helping women realise the choices that they have. I firmly believe that it was because of Elizabeth’s guidance and support both for myself and my husband that enabled me to have the natural birth that I wanted.’ S.S.

‘I first attended sessions with Elizabeth immediately prior to my first IVF treatment. Elizabeth was recommended to me by my previous complimentary therapist who was supported prior to and throughout her own pregnancy by Elizabeth. I immediately found Elizabeth to be a very personable and knowledgeable practitioner in the area of fertility and pregnacy. Elizabeth immediately put me at ease and was able to relieve the associated side effects and anxieties experienced during IVF treatment. Unfortunately the first two treatments were not successful. However, Elizabeth was always supportive, compassionate and positive between treatments. Elizabeth has an individualistic approach to treatment which has included the use of presstacks and moxibustion between sessions and advice on diet as a means of preparing/supporting treatment. Last year we made the decision to undergoe IVF abroad. Again Elizabeth’s knowledge around IVF and treatment options was invaluable. She was creative and flexible in her approach to supporting me and my partner both prior to and following treatment. The treatment was successful and Elizabeth has continued to support me , both physically and emotionally throughout this long awaited pregnancy.’ S.J.H.’

‘Elizabeth’s ability to act on my symptoms and worries was very welcome. Her warmth and consideration made the appointments a pleasure.’ J.P.
