Potentising herbal remedies
Potentising herbs can attune your herbs to the desired outcome by harvesting, preparing and timing the administration of the remedy. The first dose was seen to be the most important for potentising as this sets the stage for healing. This was the traditional method of western astrological herbal practice.
For potentising herbs relative to fire conditions or of Aries correspondence such as eye or brain tonics, male potency herbs and adrenal support herbs, the solar ingress into Aries with the Moon visiting fire signs would be ideal. Dates include; 20, 21, 27 and 28th March with the Moon waxing, and 6, 7, 8, 15, 16 and 17 April with the Moon on the wane. Along with considering the Moon phase and sign, the Ascendant and ruling planet are also important.
‘Thou shalt do nothing without the assistance of the moon,’ Agrippa.
These transits may affect you personally, if you are predisposed, this can be seen within your natal and other related charts, usually by what is termed a Trinity of Testimonial’s, though otherwise they are general.
If you are likely to be susceptible to this influence, making preparations of meditation and prayer, practicing forms of psychic self defence maybe necessary. The best psychic self defence is considered to be from those of your personal ancestral roots and not of foreign belief systems. Creating and maintaining a strong ancestral veneration practice is seen to strengthen against malicious forces.
The safe use of herbs and other remedies will always depend upon your unique health situation, and you should always take into consideration any possible contraindications; pregnancy and lactation, children’s doses, herb/drug combinations, allergic reactions and up and coming surgery, seek advice from your trusted health professional if not 100% sure.
